Disc springs in valve and flange service

Temperature, corrosion and stacking
Material-specific references extend from cryogenic conditions around -200 degrees C to high-temperature applications near 700 degrees C. That full envelope cannot be assigned to one alloy without checking relaxation, corrosion and cyclic life. The RFQ should include outside and inside diameters, thickness, free height, required force at defined deflection, cycle count, temperature, medium and stack arrangement.

Attach the spring drawing, load-deflection curve or mating assembly dimensions. Ask for material certification, heat treatment, coating, dimensional tolerance and load testing at the specified deflection points.
