A menu lists choices, not their permitted combinations

A family catalogue can contain a diameter menu, several configuration labels and a separate pressure list. Reading across those fields does not prove that every choice can be ordered with every other choice. The purchasing question is which documented combination the bidder is actually offering, not how many numbers can be collected from the page.

This guide concerns catalogue interpretation and quotation scope. It does not calculate a pressure-temperature envelope, meter uncertainty or process suitability.

Evidence boundary

The LZYN page lists a family diameter menu of 8 to 300 mm; its integrated-configuration temperature entry is -50 to 125 degC, without a paired pressure/material envelope. The LSZ page separately lists discrete pressure choices of 1.6, 2.5, 4.0 and 6.4 MPa. These family references are not verified individual model combinations.

Fictional schedule review: independently copied fields

The following example is fictional. Meter schedule F-A and reply F-B are invented documents, not actual products or quotations. No new numerical rating or available combination is assumed.

F-A copies a size choice from one family menu and puts an independently listed configuration limit beside it. Its final column says complete rating confirmed, although no order code or configuration matrix is attached. F-B names a candidate configuration but leaves its combined rating unresolved until the manufacturer supplies the relevant document.

A worked scope check removes the unsupported confirmation from F-A. The copied fields remain source references, each with its own scope. Neither the largest catalogue choice nor the presence of an order-code placeholder resolves the missing combination.

ConfigurationNamed construction or arrangementOffered configuration code and revision
Pressure choiceDiscrete catalogue optionIts applicability to the selected configuration
Temperature referenceConditions attached to that entryEvidence for the proposed combined scope

The table is a request for relationships between fields. It is not a permission to assemble a new model from independent catalogue maxima.

Trace one offered configuration through the documents

Ask the bidder to identify one proposed ordering configuration and map each required field to the supporting sheet or matrix. If an answer refers to another construction, preserve it as a separate alternative rather than mixing its favorable entries into the original schedule.

A family name is useful for finding documentation. It is not a substitute for an offered-item identity. Conversely, a long ordering code is not self-explanatory evidence: the code needs a corresponding interpretation and revision in the bid file.

Separate formatting from scope

The unit converter can make a documented pressure or temperature entry easier to compare with the requested units. A conversion leaves the source's configuration restrictions unchanged. It cannot turn a discrete option into a continuous range or establish a relationship that the source does not provide.

Keep the original labels, selected configuration and outstanding questions visible in the comparison. When a reply supplies a missing matrix, record which cells it actually resolves. An unrelated certificate or general catalogue attachment should not silently close the entire schedule.

The flowmeter product reference retains these family-level boundaries. Use the RFQ Builder to request the specific configuration documents. The intended result is a traceable offer for technical review, not a site rating or an approval inferred from a menu.
